The Swan Thornbury always has a charity of the month which changes every calendar month. Most charities are a Thornbury based charity apart from March and September which is always for Alzheimer's Dementia. Every bank holiday from April to the end of August we host a family funday in our garden to raise money for whichever charity is for that month.

Throughout the week we often have one off events to aid our charity fundraising such as carwash and charity family fun bingo. In our function room this can double up for family occasions from birthdays and christenings to weddings and also sadly wakes but on the flip side the function room is also used to house corporate events such as meetings, team building and breakfast meetings the list is endless. We are a can do make it happen sort of pub!
